Connecting Kids to Coverage Resources

February 3, 2014

The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) has partnered with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) on the Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign—a nationwide effort to enroll eligible children and teens in Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

To support the Campaign, CMS has developed a set of outreach and enrollment materials. Many of the resources, downloadable at, can be customized with local contact information by following the instructions in the Campaign customization guide. Materials include print-ready posters and palm cards, radio and television public service announcements and drop-in articles. CMS will also have a compilation of the resources available on DVD this June. Once the disks are ready for distribution, we will send out ordering instructions and a link to CMS’ Product Ordering website. Keep an eye out later this spring!

Whether you’re working with schools, clinics, health centers, or other organizations, the Connecting Kids to Coverage National Campaign resources are designed to educate families about the services available under Medicaid and CHIP and to enroll or renew coverage for eligible children and teens in these programs. Learn more about the Campaign by visiting—or contact the Connecting Kids to Coverage Campaign team at or 1-877-KIDS-NOW (1-877-543-7669).
