TRAUMA INFORMED PRACTICE ISSUE:
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The Journal of Child and Youth Care Work, a publication of The Association for Child and Youth Care Practice, in partnership with editors from the National Center for Innovation and ExcellenceHuman Development and Family Studies, School Lifespan Development and Educational Sciences, at Kent State University, and The University of Oklahoma OUTREACH National Resource Center for Youth Services, is seeking abstracts for the upcoming special volume on trauma informed practice.

Deadline for submission of abstracts is March 17, 2014

Abstracts representing the practice of child and youth work in public and private institutions and community-based programs will be reviewed by a team of highly qualified trauma-informed practice experts. Authors of selected abstracts will be invited to submit a full-length article to the special issue to be published this fall. Abstracts submitted for consideration should be no longer than 1200 words.
