Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada Schedules 48th Annual Convention

The Inter-Tribal Council of Nevada, Inc. will host its 48th Annual Convention November 4-7, 2013, at Circus Circus Hotel and Casino in Reno, Nevada.
This year's theme -- "Sustaining and Improving Tribal Communities" -- focuses on bettering the 27 tribal communities throughout Nevada. Workshops include improving tribal programs, program development, fiscal management, tribal child care, Head Start, and special sessions by the Children’s Justice Act Task Force on Indian Child Welfare, as well as a track on Tribal Law Enforcement.

All workshops, events, and entertainment are open to the public. Registration is $249 per person before October 24, 2013, and $299 after or on-site. Special rates are available for one-day participants, youth and/or elders.
